Newfoundland Society of Ottawa (NLSO) Happy Hour

Our first NLSO Happy Hour was held on 19 October 2006. This event takes place between 5 pm and 7 pm on every third Thursday of the month at the Earl of Sussex Pub. The main purpose of this event is for our members to get together and catch up, grab a bit of supper and maybe even toss back a cold beverage.

Between 25 and 40 people showed up to our event and many were busy purchasing tickets for our Christmas Dinner and Dance (Have you reserved yours yet? Don’t be disappointed; get yours early.), becoming members, saying hello and enjoying the trays of appetizers that Pedro, the Earl of Sussex owner, so kindly passed around.

All, not only Newfoundlanders, are welcome to all our events. Drop in to our next Happy Hour scheduled for 16 November 2006. Bring along your friends, introduce yourselves and enjoy some Newfoundland fellowship.
