NLSO News for April 2007

The NLSO is pleased to report that its St. Paddy’s Day Primer, held on March 16th, was another successful and sold out event.  Approximately 150 people attended and danced the night away thanks to the DJ services provided by member Brad Wood.  The timing of the pizza could not have been better as it appeared to give everyone the energy to continue dancing well past 1am but then again, perhaps it was the beer?!  The NLSO Executive would like to thank those of you who supported this event as well as those of you who took the time to provide us positive feedback.

Upcoming Events:

Thursday, April 19th:  Happy Hour at the Earl of Sussex Pub, 5:00-7:00pm

Saturday, April 28th:  Touton Breakfast hosted by Night Caps Bar & Grill, 10am. Tickets are $11 members and $13 non-members and can be obtained by contacting:  tickets@newfoundlandsocietyofottawa.com     

Thursday, May 10th: Newfoundland Trivia Nite at the Clock Tower Brew Pub, 575 Bank St.  There is space available for 12 teams of 4.  Tickets are $7 members and $10 non-members and can be obtained by contacting: tickets@newfoundlandsocietyofottawa.com
