The NLSO Executive would like to thank all
those who attended the Second Annual NLSO Christmas Dinner and
Dance on November 30th. This year was another resounding
success, selling out well in advance and raising $263 for
charity. A very special thank you to those who contributed
prizes to the event and congratulations again to all the
winners. Also, thank you to everyone who shared their beautiful
images of Newfoundland and past NLSO events with us for the
slide shows, the mummers that made an appearance to get the
dance started, and other members who assisted in different areas
to make the dinner and dance the success that it was. Keep
watching the NLSO website for upcoming pictures.
At this time, we would also like to inform you of NLSO events
that will be coming up over the next couple of months. Please
note that the dates of some of our recurring activities have
changed because of the holiday season.
We are always planning more activities and
events so stay tuned for more information and make sure to check
our website at

upcoming NLSO and related events. For example, on December 13th
there will be a Winter Pub Night Fundraiser with the Fumblin'
Fingers at the Earl of Sussex presented by Showboat in support
for dragonboat charities.
